Christine Oddo, MS, CRC is the Associate Director of Mill Neck Services. Christine earned her degree from Empire State College in Community and Human Services and her Master’s Degree from Hofstra University in Rehabilitation Counseling with a minor in Psychiatric Counseling.
Christine began working in the Alternative High School Program at the Mill Neck Manor School for the Deaf, where she taught independent living skills and provided job placement and on the job training to the multiply-disabled high school students. Christine left the school program in 1986 to begin Mill Neck’s Adult Services program to meet the transition needs of the Deaf youngsters who were aging out of the school system as well as address the needs of other Deaf adults who required specialized employment services.
During this time, Chris has played an integral role in developing and expanding services to Deaf Adults at MNS which now includes: UCS-Job Placement, Supported Employment, HCBS Waiver Services (Day Habilitation, Residential Habilitation), Medicaid Service Coordination, Individual Support Services, Interpreter Referral Services, Sign Language Classes, Adult Literacy and Respite Services.
